I was forced to move from Kyiv to Prague right after the beginning of the war in Ukraine. This idea wasn't mine at all - my parents decided it would be safer to wait somewhere abroad. The journey wasn't that difficult. But it was tense and stressful because of many roadblocks and the painful news that has been continuously appearing during these 3 months.
We got from Kyiv to Uzhhorod (the city in western Ukraine) in 2 days, and crossed the border early in the morning in Chop. Luckily there were no long queues at that time.

Každých pět minut píše nový zájemce - nebo spíše zájemkyně - o místo v kurzu českého jazyka zdarma pro naše Ukrajince. Během dvou hodin od výzvy k registraci jsme naplnili kapacity všech nabízených kurzů. Vnímáme obrovskou poptávku, kterou nemůžeme uspokojit, pokud nás nebude víc.
